Also, I know some cards can be turned on and off. I could create a wireless connection called wlan0 in network manager but the device does not seem to be associated to the connection.
OK, so when I tried to ditch ndiswrapper and use rtl again I was getting fatal errors about loading the module.
I blacklisted rtl before installing Ndsiwrapper maybe that helpedand then installed Ndiswrapper and the XP drivers. Is there a way to be sure mine is turned on?
